Cartograph is a module for use with Archimed imaging software package.  Cartograph is a powerful facility which stitches together images from adjacent fields of view to create one large image of your specimen in both 2D and 3D.  the stitching is achieved automatically with manual override.  The results automatically appear in other elements of the Archimed softweare such as the multi-page customisable reports.
